Candle holders
Candle holders are available in a range of decorative shapes. They are made from wood, metal, glass, and stone. Holders also can be purchased that mount on the wall or stand on the floor to illuminate every nook and cranny in the house. There is no limit to the variety of candle holders for sale.
One can create their own candle holders out of common items found around the house. Using jars, sand, food coloring, ribbons, and glue, a beautiful holder can arise. Place the sand in a bowl and use the food coloring to tint the sand to the desired color. One can also use rice instead of sand. Fill the jar about two-thirds full of sand. Glue a ribbon around the top of the jar and push a candle into the middle of the jar, pushing it down into the sand.
Do you need candle holders for Halloween? Obtain mini-pumpkins, a carving knife, small spoon, and tapers. Cut the top of the pumpkins, making sure the whole is about the size of a quarter. Remove the seed with the spoon. Place a candle into the hole and enjoy a creepy Halloween dinner by candlelight.
